Butterflies are simply insects. So when Penny delightfully points at them, Percy forces a smile and turns her attention to other things.

Strolling in the park on a sunny, cloudless day only means that Percy’s fair skin will be sun burnt. He wishes Penelope would understand this.

Comet showers are lovely, but really, he expected a Ravenclaw girl to appreciate the history of omens surrounding the phenomenon. Nevertheless, he allows her to pull him down into the grass.

The ants are the final straw. What kind of sensible girl has an ant farm? Percy doesn’t need that kind of girlfriend.

OMG, this is possibly my favourite drabble ever! You've captured him perfectly here, and I love your blend of humour with Percy's practicality! Well done :D
