"Winning" [Nov. 22nd, 2005|06:01 pm]
Percy 100

Title: Winning
Author: atalantapendrag
Rating: PG-13, Percy/Oliver
Word Count: 100 (according to OpenOffice)
Challenge: #10: Percy and Quidditch

Percy alway feigned disappointment when Gryffindor lost a match. If he wasn't so reserved, it might have been difficult.

When Gryffindor won, everyone yelled, there were always illicit bottles of intoxicants (that Professor McGonagall had all but instructed him to ignore!), cheering and the team was surrounded by admirers.

When Gryffindor lost, everyone wandered off to sulk alone. Usually the aforementioned bottles were drafted as 'consolation'.

To Percy, a Gryffindor loss meant finding Oliver, wherever he'd hidden himself. A long, soothing backrub was better consolation, and more often than not, led to them forgetting there'd been a match at all.

"Comfort" and "No Relation Of His" [Nov. 15th, 2005|12:31 am]
Percy 100

Title: Comfort
Author: redcandle17
Rating: G
Word Count: 100
Challenge: Percy + photograph

Percy kept a photograph of his mother on his desk. The photographic image would smile at him, when it wasn’t wandering out of the frame – maybe searching for the image of his father he’d snipped out and burned. He missed Molly. She’d been supportive of his ambition when no one else was. She still sent him owls bearing pleading, affectionate notes and his favorite foods sometimes. Percy didn’t dare reply. When midnight found him at his desk, scribbling yet another report, it was nice to glance at his mother’s picture and be reminded that someone loved him. It was enough.

A drabble for the previous challengeCollapse )

Title: Mistakes
Word count: 100
Characters/pairings: Percy, Fred and George, Molly

Percy sat in his new apartment.  Having not spoken to his parents for months he could not return to the Burrow.  It was clear to Molly he would not be coming back when he had sent a house elf for his things.  As he opened the first box, right on top was a photo of him with his family.  He watched himself argue with his mother and push her away when she tried to hug him.  He didn’t blame the twins for pushing him after he had pushed their mother.  Percy realized just then how much he hurt his mother.

Title: Little Girl
Words: 100
Characters: Percy, Ginny
Challenge: Percy + Diagon Alley

He’d come down this street many times as a child. It was very exciting, even though he knew the enjoyment would be squashed with second hand books, and other things that cast him out.

He would walk down rows of shops, entering stores with his little sister at his heels, begging him to let her help. She had been about six the first time.

Now he was looking at another young, red haired girl. She was the same age Ginny had been.

His niece Ariadne rushed into her mother’s arms, and the girl who’d admired him at six, just scowled.

Percy 100

Percy in Diagon Alley

*g* Well, I thought the mods would be rotating challenges but it looks like right now I'm the only one. So I shall be issuing challenges forthwith every two weeks. Tuesdays are better days for me, so the next challenge will be a Tuesday.

Have a challenge you'd like to see the community write about? E-mail rosewhispers.lj@gmail.com with the subject header "Percy100" (Credit will be given of course!)

Also, look for a Percy100 website coming soon as a place to collect and promote all of our drabbles.

And as always- Pimp, Pimp, Pimp! We're a tiny community right now, and I'd love to see us grow.
